I mean, you're never going to emulate the real experience exactly, but some flipper skills that work in real life machines are still awkward. It may be cliche, but video pinball still has a bit more to go before coming close to emulating real life pinball. The later the port, the better it gets (PS2<360/PS3). Realism, Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection is the closest so far.
